Dulse for Breakfast? Yes, Please!

Hi, I’m Katie, the farm manager over at La Dulse Vita, which means I always have dulse on hand—because you never know when you can dulseify your life.

This morning, I whipped up a simple egg scramble with fresh tomatoes and feta cheese. I was just about to dive in when a thought hit me: dulse would be so good on top of this. So, I grabbed my dehydrated dulse flakes and sprinkled them over my plate. And let me tell you—it took my breakfast to a whole new level.

The dulse added a subtle umami kick that paired perfectly with the creamy feta and juicy tomatoes. It gave my scramble a depth of flavor I never knew it was missing. Now, I don’t think I can ever go back to a dulse-free breakfast.

Moral of the story? Keep some dulse on hand. You never know when the perfect meal needs a little extra magic.
